Well ive surprised myself this year ive finished my cards, well christmas ones that is - unless i think of another load of people i have forgotten then im finished.
I kept Kieran off school as he still had temperature, cough and just generally looks weak. He asked what i was doing and wanted to have a go too so he made 8 of his cards, not many left for him to do now either.
Next stage ........... buy wrapping paper and start wrapping pressies BEFORE I hide them as it is such a pain hiding them, then getting them out, then hiding them again and if i leave it all til christmas eve then im flustered and cant enjoy a drink or three.
Craft-wise i think ill do some altered notebooks.......watch this space.

Christmas Card Day
Every year I panic at the last minute making my Christmas cards for everyone, and the list is getting longer and longer. So, decided its time to make a start and maybe i wil have them finished this year. Well you never know.
Also hoping to get most of my christmas wrapping done too, as I am constantly on the go Christmas Eve. And, as I visit all the neighbours and end up having wine at them all, im not really in a fit state to wrap presents hee hee.
Found out recently that coffee is another triger for my ibs so, cant drink that anymore, i cant stand tea so that just leaves me with hot chocolate as I am allowed cocoa but not caffiene, even decaf. Mmmmmm how many people have hot chocolate in the cupboard though, well ill soon find out.
Well its 10.20am and as ive got over 50 Chistmas cards to make and also some birthday ones i think id better go make a move.

Lia and Alix
Well, its been a long time but ive finally decided to follow my own heart instead of being told how to live it, there will probably be an explosion but life is too short.
Sent Lia and Alix cards for their birthdays and so finally made contact with some of them, not many left to go now, and then I will feel as if my bridges are rebuilt.
Both seemed happy to hear from me and I was relieved to hear so as I was dreading the comeback of it all.
Alix is training to be a Beauty Therapist which is what I did until my back injury which prevented me from walking. Im currently selling most of my beauty equipment before it gets out of date and hopefully she will be able to make good use of it.
Spoke with nan, Big Dawn and Adam also and although a little awkward it was great to hear their voices. Had a good chat via text from Alix and Adam too which was lovely.
Lia text me all last night as did Jacki and it was great to catch up with their lives too.
Cannot wait to see them all.

Halloween Party
Decided to have a halloween party for me, er I mean Kiera of course, invited his classmates Leon, Sophie and Hollie and his girlfriend Jessica, the two girls from over the road, Scarlet and Grace, and cousins Charlie, Stacey, Shawn, Kyle and Cassie.
Unfortunately, only Jessice came from his class, which was the most important ne so that was ok by Kieran, Scarlet and Grace came as did Stacey, Shawn, Kyle and Cassie. Unfortunately Charlie was poorly on the day so couldnt come which was a shame as she would have loved it.
The party was a complete success and everyone loved it including the adults so am getting prepared for a Christmas Party too.
